Step Forward Fife SPC
Fife & Kinross Solicitors Property Centres began approximately fifteen years ago when local solicitors decided to pool their resources in order to facilitate house hunting for buyers in North-East Fife.
In these early days, when computers were in their infancy and the Internet was unknown to most people, members of the public were able to go into the offices of member firms and browse through folders containing sale particulars and photographs of all properties available for sale by those firms.
The facility to view, in any one of ten local outlets, the bulk of the properties on the market in the area proved to be very popular with the house buying public and in 1993 operations were put on a proper footing by the formation of a limited company.
Not content to rest on our laurels, a new fortnightly property paper was launched and its wide circulation in the area and value for money made it very successful. A computerised register of properties for sale followed in order to better develop the range of services solicitor firms could offer.
The next major step forward was the creation of the Groups own website, allowing the public to view details of all member firms properties on the one site.
Technological advances have enabled us to make significant improvements and we were delighted to be able to launch our brand new website - www.fifespc.co.uk - in October 2004.
The site contains every property registered for sale via the eleven major solicitor firms operating in North East Fife. For the very first time, the property buying public has a comprehensive house buying research facility available at the click of a mouse.
We hope that you enjoy the facility provided and that it makes your property search both easier and more effective. We will go on to improve the service to you in the years to come and welcome any ideas or comments you may have. We consider our site to be a public service as well as a modern, up to the minute, vehicle to profile our clients' properties.
